Course Description

The 5S's: Workplace Organization course is a comprehensive, computer-based interactive training program that teaches employees how to organize and maintain their work area to improve workplace efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.

The 5S's is divided into two units: 5S’s Step-by-Step and 5S Implementation. Upon completion of the lessons in each unit, learners can take the 5S Challenge to test their knowledge of what they learned in the unit.

Course Objectives

Learners will be able to:

  1. Understand each of the five S’s and how each “S” builds upon the previous “S.”
  2. Apply the 5S’s to their work area.
  3. Develop (or participate in the development of) a 5S Implementation Roadmap.

Intended Audience

This course is perfect for all employees and is especially helpful to project leaders or supervisors responsible for integrating the 5S philosophy and 5S techniques into their work area.

Approximately five to seven hours.
